Works under close supervision, receives specific detailed instructions about assignments and the results expected.
Performs a variety of routine tasks which are intended to provide experience and interaction with:
other staff, methods, practices, programs, and the culture of the organization.
Prepares, or assists in the preparation of engineering drawings and details.
Responsibilities:
Developing knowledge and proficiency in the use of office equipment.
Developing knowledge and proficiency in the use of HRC's system of filing and retrieving drawings and other project information.
Developing knowledge and proficiency in the types of resources available such as reference materials, government agencies, utility companies, in-house records, etc.
Assisting in the production of drawings, graphs, charts, exhibits and other project documents.
Developing knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer aided drafting and design (CADD) equipment and procedures, and in HRC's CADD drafting standards.
Developing knowledge and proficiency in the use of PC's to complete simple engineering tasks.
